Mr. Billy B. Kinslow, age 81 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, February 9, 2015 at 11:42 P. M. at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Franklin First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

A native of Simpson Co. Ky. he was the son of the late Carlos Kinslow and the late Essie Brown Kinslow.  He was preceded in death by a son Kelly and a daughter Connie.

He is survived by his wife Patty W. Kinslow, 3 children Billy Edwards (Jennie) of Bowling Green, Ky., Kenny Kinslow (Michelle) of Franklin, Ky. and Kris Kinslow (Danielle) of Gallatin, TN., a sister Betty Carol Krantz (Eugene) of Franklin, KY. and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Kinslow was a graduate of the Franklin-Simpson High School and graduated WKU with a B.S. degree and lettered in football.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.  He officiated high school football for several years.  He was retired civil engineer from Potter & Brumfield and also served on the Franklin City Council.  He was a member of the Franklin Country Club where he was a 5 time club champion and past president.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 and from 6:00 A.M. until 9:00 A.M. Wednesday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.  The body will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M. until funeral service time on Wednesday.
