Billy Wayne Hammock

Mr. Billy Wayne Hammock, age 74 of Franklin, KY, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at 5:38 PM at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 5, 2019 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Billy was born November 19, 1944 in Macon Co., TN to the late Cordell and Helen Hammock. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Hammock.

Billy is survived by his children, Scotty Hammock of Franklin, KY, Micky Hammock (Felicia) of Portland, TN, Crystal Cosby of Franklin, KY, 10 grandchildren, Alicia Carver, Christina Slack, Kasey York, Josh York, Lacey York, Kali York, Kelsi York, Thomas York, Trevor Hammock, Justin Hammock, 17 greatgrandchildren, 1 brother Eddie Hammock of Franklin, KY, and 4 sisters, Peggy Hammonds of Portland, TN, Linda Binion of Franklin, KY, Sandra Mayes of Woodburn, KY, and Pat Webb of Gardner, KS.

Billy was a gasoline delivery driver and a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church of Portland, TN.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday, July 4, 2019 and from 6:00 AM until service time Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
