Mrs. Betty Sue Boyd Pirkle, age 69 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, September 24, 2012 at 9:44 A. M. at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Ewing Boyd and the late Dora Pearl Eldridge Boyd. She was preceded in death by a son Steve Edwards and 4 brothers Gilbert Boyd, William Houston Boyd, Bobby Boyd and Willie Boyd.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Candy Blazar and Ramona Faulkner both of Joplin, MO.; 3 sons: James Edwards of Louisville, KY., Chris Edwards (Rhonda) of Franklin, KY. and LeRoy Wright (Christine) of Fredricksburg, IN.; 3 brothers: Larry Boyd of Portland, TN., Jimmy Boyd of Franklin, KY. and Jack Boyd of Indianapolis, IN.; 10 grandchildren: Tiffini Thompson, Tonya Edwards, Cody Edwards, Josh Edwards, Shelby Edwards, Abby Wright, Jason Johnson, Jeremiah Edwards and Nathan Edwards Stevie Edwards and a great grand-daughter Berlyn Johnson.
Mrs. Pirkle was a homemaker.
