Betty Lee (Alender) Elliott

Mrs. Betty Lee Elliott, age 89, of Franklin, KY, passed away Friday, February 5th, 2021 at 8:32 AM at The Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are entrusted to Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Franklin, KY.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13th, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13th at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, in Franklin, KY.

Betty was born on April 6th, 1931 in Owensboro, KY to the late James Rubert Alender, Sr. and the late Mable Harold Alender.  She was the wife of the late Joe David Elliott who was originally from Simpson Co., KY.  She is also preceded in death by a brother, Dr. J.R. Alender.

She is survived by 2 children, Lynne Jones of Bowling Green, KY and David Elliott; 5 grandchildren, Madeleine Jones, Megan Jones, Megan Elliott, Kendall Elliott, Josh Elliott.

Betty was a member of First Baptist Church, Franklin, KY.  She worked as a secretary before retirement.  Betty loved to read and she enjoyed going to church.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are to be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 303 East Cedar Street, Franklin, KY. 42134.
