Beth Ann Beasley Chaney

Mrs. Beth Ann Beasley Chaney, age 62 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, March 18, 2016 at 4:16 PM at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 21, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

A native of Franklin, KY., she was the daughter of the late Dr. L. F. Beasley and the late Jane Wyatt Beasley.

She is survived by her husband John Mark Chaney, a daughter Mary Beth Chaney Bennett (Kevin) and a son John Maxwell Chaney (Amie) all of Franklin, KY.;  4 sisters Betty Beasley of Jacksonville, FL., Barbara Smith of Franklin, KY., Susan Taylor (Everett) of Owensboro, KY., Bonnie Jay (Jere) of Allen, TX. and a brother Dr. John Beasley (Sherrie) of Mayfield, KY.;  4 grandchildren Kevin Maxwell Bennett, Amanda Beth Bennett, Chloe Elizabeth Chaney and John Parker Chaney;  12 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Chaney was a second grade school teacher for 27 years in the Simpson County School district and a member of the First United Methodist Church.  She was a member of the Women of the Vine church group and volunteer at the Pumpkin Patch.  She was a supporter and #1 Franklin-Simpson Wildcat football fan and member of the Retired Teacher’s Association.

Visitation will begin Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM until funeral service time at the First United Methodist Church.
