Mrs. Bessie Shanklin Barrett age 87 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, December 17, 2014 at 3:15 A. M. at the Franklin Simpson Nursing and Rehab Center in Franklin, KY.
A native of Elkton, Ky. she was the daughter of the late Wilburn Shanklin and the late Mamie Lois Rudd Shanklin. She was the wife of the late Thomas Barrett.
She is survived by a son Tom Barrett and a granddaughter Missy Barrett and a sister Mayme Burden-Clark of Bartow, FL.
