Bennie Wilson Starks

Mr. Bennie Wilson Starks, age 63, of Franklin, KY passed away on Sunday, June 12th, 2022 at 10:17 PM at his residence.

Cremation was chosen, a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 17th, 2022 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.

Bennie was born on July 24th, 1958 in Franklin, KY to the late William E. “Pee Wee” Mason and the late Lillie Mae Bland Starks.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Starks and step-father, Preston Starks.

He is survived by his two children, Arielle Starks of Franklin, KY and Brayden Starks of Auburn, KY; 2 grandchildren, Aniyah Dodd and Xander Dodd; 3 sisters, Mary Elizabeth Starks and Brenda Lockhart, both of Franklin, KY and Marilyn Strong of Terre Haute, IN; and a brother, Darnell Mason of Franklin, KY.

Bennie was a self-employed construction worker and he enjoyed his work, fishing and his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
