Barry Matthew "Matt" Stephens

Mr. Barry Matthew “Matt” Stephens age 34 of Adolphus, KY. entered into rest Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Simpson Co., KY. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A native of Simpson Co., KY he was the son of  Barry Lee Stephens and Cynthia “Cindy” Brandon Stephens both whom survive of Adolphus, KY.  He was preceded in death by a sister Kari Lee Stephens and paternal grandparents Jackie Lee Haskel Stephens and Mary Louise Bunch Stephens Montgomery and maternal grandparents James Robert “Bob” Brandon and Velma Louise Hammack Brandon.

Other survivors are,  2 daughters Madison Faith Stephens and Keegan Grace Stephens both of Adolphus, KY., 2 step children Austin and Matthew Harmon of Bowling Green, KY., a sister Brandy Nichole Stephens(Parish Stout) of Scottsville, KY., and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Stephens attended the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, July 12, 2015 and from 6:00 AM 12:00 P.M. Monday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.  The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until service time Monday.
