Barbara White

Mrs. Barbara White, age 78, of Franklin, KY., passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at 12:00 PM at her residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be Monday, November 25th, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Barbara was born April 8, 1941 in Sumner County, TN, to the late William Hendrick and the late Bessie Morrow.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances May Franklin and a brother, Wayne Hendrick.

She is survived by her beloved husband Joe, of 57 years of Franklin, Ky., 2 sons, Tyler White (Angie) of Bowling Green, Ky. and Chad White of Franklin, KY., 1 sister, Jo Burris of Franklin, KY., 1 brother, Roy Hendrick of Portland, TN., 3 grandchildren, Peyton White, Landen White, and Farrah White.

Barbara was a member at First Baptist Church, Franklin, KY.  She was a Cosmetologist for 30+ years and a dental receptionist for 10 years.  Barbara love antiquing and reading.  She was a homemaker, whom was a loving wife to her husband Joe and a loving mother and grandmother to her 2 sons and grandchildren.  Family was her main focus, she loved them with all her heart.

In lieu of flowers, the White family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN., 38105-9959.
