Mrs. Ava Elaine Phillips, age 63 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, August 16, 2010 at 3:19 P.M. at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
A native of Warren Co., KY. he was the daughter of the late Oather Young and the late Lois Marie Jones Cole. She was preceded in death by her step father Preston Cole.
She is survived by her husband Joe Wesley Phillips, a son Cory Moyers and his wife Robin of Bowling Green, KY., a step daughter Michelle Phillips of Hendersonville, TN., a step son Dereck Alan Phillips of Hendersonville, TN., a sister Sue McPeak of Anna, KY., 2 step brothers Guy Cole of Richardsville, KY. and Joe Allen Cole of Anna, KY., a step sister Joyce Wimpee of Bowling Green, KY., 2 Grandchildren Wesley Moyers and Austin Moyers and 1 step grandson Ethin Mac Phillips.
Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ. She was retired from Holly Carburetor.
