Archie Bruce Rhea

Mr. Archie Bruce Rhea, age 86 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, August 5, 2016 at 4:30 PM at the Signature Healthcare Facility in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where service will be held at 11:00 AMMonday, August 8, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

A native of Logan Co., KY. he was the son of the late John Starrett Rhea and the late Lula Boyd Rhea. He was preceded in death by his son Tommy Rhea, 5 brothers David, James, Wendall, Billy and Donald Rhea.

He is survived by a sister Janie Mayeur Hall of Franklin, KY., a brother Alvis Rhea of Franklin, Ky., 3 grandchildren Amanda Rhea Smith(Daniel), Tyler and Trenton Rhea and 2 great grandchildren Ella Burgess and Everett Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rhea was a member of the McKendree Chapel Church and attended the Franklin First Baptist Church, American Legion Post # 62 and V.F.W. Post#5706. He was an Army Veteran.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, August 7, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Monday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Franklin First Baptist Church Building Fund.
