Mrs. Annetta “Jay” Runner Farmer, age 88, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:48 AM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
She was born January 21, 1929 in Richardsville, KY. to the late Commodore Runner and the late Evie Manco Runner. She was the wife of the late Raymond Farmer. 4 sisters and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons Larry Farmer (Joyce) of Franklin, KY., and Jerry Farmer (Wanda) of Woodburn, KY., 3 sisters Alice Smith and Brenda Akin both of Bowling Green, KY. and Cheryl King of Sonora, KY., a brother Ben Runner of Bowling Green, KY., 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She graduated from Richardsville High School in 1947 and was a homemaker.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2018 until service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
