Mrs. Allie Clark Sloan, age 101 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, October 11, 2010 at 6:05 A. M. at her residence.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late James Allen Adams and the late Johnnie Hendricks Adams. She was preceded in death by her husbands Charlie Clark and Guy Sloan, a son James Robert Clark and a great grandson Seth
She is survived by a daughter Mima Goodrum Head and husband R.L. of Franklin, KY. and a son Charles Clark of Bowling Green, KY.; 9 grandchildren: David Clark and wife Jane of Lexington, KY., Janet Clark Hurt of Woodburn, KY., Lisa Clark Young and husband David of Champaign, IL., Kay Clark Harris and husband Wayne of Portland, TN., Cinda Clark Arnold of Alvaton, KY., Jane Clark Whitney and husband Phil, Linda Clark Lightfoot and husband David, Brenda Clark Forrester and husband William and Charlie Clark all of Bowling Green, KY.; 24 great grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Sloan was a homemaker, a member of the Franklin Church of Christ, a 50 year member of the Simpson County Homemakers and a charter member and volunteer of the Franklin-Simpson Hospital/The Medical Center Auxiliary.
