Mrs. Alice Marie Owens, age 78 of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 4:09 P.M. at her residence.
A native of Allen Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Willie Leo Hanner and the late Levia Beattress Graves Hanner. She was the wife of the late Finis E. Owens, Jr. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Howard Lee Hanner and Haskel Dean Hanner and a sister Katherine Lois Corbin.
She is survived by her children Thressia Diann Thomas(Paul), Billy Michael Owens, Dale Wayne Owens(Revina) and Gary Lynn Owens all of Franklin, KY., 5 brothers James Wendall Hanner of Taylor, Michigan, Charles Ray Hanner of Orlinda, TN., John Edward Hanner of Franklin, KY., Larry Darrell Hanner of Portland, TN. and Terry David Hanner of Franklin, KY., 3 sisters Brenda Carol Melton of Franklin, KY., Bonnie Faye Bigbee of Portland, TN. and Sharon Ann Vaughn of Orlinda, TN., 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Owens was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Kendall Company after 37 years.
